Sharing isn’t always so nice, when it comes to Noah Cyrus and her mother Trish Cyrus, and their dating history with men.
Trish Cyrus’ new husband Dominic Purcell was reported to be seeing her youngest daughter Noah before they hooked-up.
“Noah and Dominic were seeing each other in a friends with benefits way, off and on,” a close insider to the singer said. “They stopped seeing each other and then Trish started something up.”
According to the source, Trish, 56, knew of Purcell’s relationship with Noah, 24, but never gave Noah the chance to talk about all of this before they got married.
Meanwhile, another close source to Trish claims that she had no intention of warning Noah about her budding romance with Dominic.
Noah was offended by her mom’s actions and the whole entire situation, making it rather awkward between the mother-daughter duo moving forward.
“The turmoil between Noah and Tish goes far beyond what people think. Noah is very distraught over Tish stealing Dominic from her,” added Noah’s close source.
Meanwhile Noah’s fans claim it should be no sweat off Noah’s back. She is a pretty singer with so much potential and can land a way better man.
Noah never attended her mother and Dominic’s nuptials in August 2023, at which Miley Cyrus, 31, served as the maid of honor. Instead, Noah spent time browsing the aisles of Walmart with her brother Braison.
While fans saw her outing with her brother as a slight towards Trish, the celeb mom supposedly didn’t want Noah or Braison to attend her special day.
“Trish was the one who did not invite Noah and Braison to her wedding, and blocked them on Instagram after she pursued Dominic,” a person close to the Cyrus family claimed. “It was Tish who requested security at her wedding to keep Noah and Braison out.”
Despite Noah being quite upset and shocked by her mom dating her ex, she has since moved on and found happiness. She announced publicly her engagement to fashion designer Pinkus in June 2023.
“The greatest moment of my entire life was saying ‘yes’ to spending the rest of ours together,” she captioned her Instagram announcement at the time. “This past month of being your fiancé and being in our own little world of just us two has been so perfect and I wish I could never leave this time.”
Noah went on to call her fiancé the most talented, the most loyal, and the kindest person.
Just months before Noah’s good news, Trish had announced her engagement to Purcell, 54, in April 2023.
She was previously married to Noah, Miley and Braison’s father, Billy Ray Cyrus, for 28 years. He also adopted her kids, Brandi, 36, and Trace, 35, when they tied the knot in 1993. He already had a son, Christopher, 31, when they got together.
After being on and off several times, Tish filed for divorce from the “Hannah Montana” alum for good in April 2022.
She revealed during her February 2024 appearance on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast that their marriage fell apart during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Our marriage had not been in a good place for a long time, and I think I did stay so long out of fear, literal fear, of being alone,” she explained. “When he traveled to Tennessee and I remained in California to be near our kids during the pandemic, I knew it was finally over for the two of us. And so I literally just had made that firm decision and was like, ‘I’m moving on with my life.’ And, you know what, girl? It worked out for the best.”
