Father and son bonding time was absolutely cuter than ever to watch!
Garrett Hedlund shared a rare photo of his and Emma Roberts’ 1-year-old baby Rhodes on Instagram Tuesday.
In the cuter than ever picture, Hedlund was seen lifting Rhodes into the air so their little one could get a closer look at a display of stuffed buffalos at the sporting goods store.
“A Very ‘Simba-bolic’ moment❤️ ‘Meet the BASS PRO SHOP BUFFALO…. Daddies Spirit Animal.😂💪🦬,” he captioned the photo, referencing the scene in “The Lion King” when Mufasa holds up Simba for the animals to see.
Both Roberts, 31, and Hedlund, 37, have kept their son out of the public eye and rarely post content showing their child. The two are very private people when it comes to the media prying into their personal lives.
A few days after giving birth, Roberts decided to share a sneak peek at Rhodes in January 2021.
“Thank you 2020 for getting one thing right Our bright light Rhodes Robert Hedlund,” she captioned a photo snuggling with her newborn while wearing a cheerful orange dress and matching shoes.
Roberts had confirmed in August 2020 that she was pregnant and expecting her very first child. “Me and my two favorite guys,” Roberts captioned the announcement of her pregnancy.
Then Roberts celebrated her upcoming little bundle with a garden-themed baby shower in October that same year.
She and Hedlund have been linked as a couple since March 2019.
Roberts previously dated actor Evan Peters on and off for years until ending things for good in March 2019. While Hedlund, dated Kirsten Dunst for four years, but they broke up in 2016.
