Paparazzi caught actress Courtney Cox in what looked to be a heated argument with her 19-year old daughter Coco Arquette while they were at London’s Heathrow Airport.
Cox, 59, looked at her daughter sternly as Coco pointed at her mother angrily during their animated discussion. However, it was unclear what the conversation was about between the two.
Both mother and daughter settled for a casual traveling outfit and were dressed in dark colors, looking comfy and cozy.
Despite their unpleasant looking conversation, the mother-daughter duo is known to be really close with each other.
In fact, Courtney and Coco were all smiles when they attended the New York City premiere of ‘Scream 6’ in March 2023.
At the time, Arquette stunned in a corseted red midi dress and black platform sandals while posing for photos with her mom on the red carpet. Meanwhile, Cox chose to wear a black blazer layered over a clingy little black dress, opaque tights, and slingback pumps to finish her glamorous look.
Cox shares her daughter with with ex-husband David Arquette, whom she married in1999 after meeting on the set of “Scream.”
Despite welcoming Coco in June 2004, they struggled to conceive a baby at the beginning of their marriage.
“It was really weird because everyone in my family has kids,” Cox said during an interview in May of 2004. “I mean, they pop out like it’s nobody’s business. No one in my family has a problem. So to me, I just thought this would not be a problem at all.”
“It was really hard to film ‘Friends’ during my fertility journey,” Cox added. “I remember one time I just had a miscarriage and Jennifer Aniston’s character Rachel was giving birth. It was, like, that same time. Oh, my God, it was terrible having to be funny.”
Nine years after Coco was born, Cox and Arquette, 52, chose to call it quits on their marriage and amicably split. Cox went on to get remarried to her husband Johnny McDaid in 2013 and she continues to co-parent with David in a supportive way.
“We’ve communicated a lot because of Coco,” David, who now shares sons Charlie and Augustus with wife Christina McLarty, said in 2020. “We’ve been really open and supportive of each other.”
“We never went head-to-head or battled each other through the process of divorce and through the process of raising our kid, so it’s made for a relationship that is out of respect,” David said kindly about his relationship with his ex-wife and their parenting style.
