Kelly Osbourne is one year sober.
“What a difference a year can make!” the pregnant “Osbournes” alum, 37, captioned an Instagram post Friday marking 12 months of sobriety. “If you would have told me 365 days ago that I would be sober, happy and about to be a mumma I would have laughed in your face.”
Osbourne went on to write, “Life is truly amazing when you do the work. Thank you to everyone that has supported me on this journey. I love you all so much!!!!!!!”
The social media upload came two weeks after the former reality star revealed her pregnancy newswith sonogram shots.
Osbourne, who is dating Slipknot’s Sid Wilson, has been candid with her Instagram followers about her sobriety journey over the years.
Although she was not “proud” when she relapsed in April 2021, the “Fashion Police” alum came clean on social media.
“This is a little hard for me to talk about, but I’ve always promised you that I will always be honest with you about where I’m at and what’s going on in my road to recovery,” she said at the time, clarifying that she was “back on track.”
Osbourne acknowledged that sobriety happens “one day at a time,” concluding, “I just want to tell you guys the truth because I never, ever want to lie to you. Thank you so much for your support and your love.”
The former “Dancing With the Stars” contestant spoke to “Red Table Talk” co-hostsAdrienne Banfield-Norris, Jada Pinkett Smith and Willow Smith two months later about the day she fell off the wagon.
Osbourne had “made it all the way through the cornavirus pandemic” when she noticed a woman drinking champagne poolside with her husband and decided she could “do that too.”
She recalled, “The next day, I had two glasses, and then the day after that, it was bottles. … Could’t even hold back.”
Osbourne first became sober in 2017, telling her Instagram followers the following year that abstaining from alcohol led to one of the “hardest” periods of her life.
“I still don’t know who the f–k I am or what the f–k I want but I can whole heartedly confess that I’m finally at peace with myself and truly starting to understand what true happiness is,” she wrote in August 2018. “I’m sorry if I let anyone down it was just time for me to work on me!”
