Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are proving they’re the modern-day Brady Bunch as they enjoyed an outing with all five of their children.
The couple made a blended family look easy during their trip to the mall on Saturday.
The family-of-seven were seen at Los Angeles’ Westfield Century City mall, a popular hang out for both residents and tourists, with Ben’s kids he shares with ex Jennifer Garner; Violet, 16, Seraphina, 13, and Samuel, 10, and J-Lo’s kids she shares with ex Marc Anthony, twins Emme and Max, 14.
Bennifer 2.0 and the gang went about their day relatively unrecognized and without bodyguards.
J-Lo could be seen smiling, holding hands, and gazing up adoringly at her soon-to-be husband as they strolled and shopped.
J-Lo wore a Disney T-shirt with Snow White on it, tan pants, Nike sneakers and carried a $100,000 Hermes Birkin bag.
Of course, her stunning 8.5-carat natural green diamond engagement ring was on display.
Ben was casual as usual, wearing a grey T-shirt with an eagle on it, black joggers and green and white sneakers.
The family were first spotted coming from the direction of the movie theater, so it’s possible they saw a film before shopping and grabbing frozen yogurt.
J-Lo’s daughter Emme, 14, seemed to know all the ins and outs of the two-level, 1.3 million square-foot mall and was directing the family on where to go next.
Emme, in a dark blue football letterman style jacket appeared to team up with Ben’s daughter Seraphina, 13, dressed in a black T-shirt and tan pants, in making all shopping plans.
One of their stops was at the Anthropologie store Terrain, which features home décor and a garden center.
An onlooker says, “Ben was in the store on his phone telling a driver where and when they wanted to be picked up later while everyone else in the family looked around.”
Emme and Seraphina both bought small pots and plants from Terrain, and it was J-Lo who handed over her credit card for the items.
The doting mom held hands with son Max as they left the store.
At one point Ben’s youngest Samuel, wearing a trendy blue Aviator Nation striped hoodie, wandered away from the group and it was his future stepmother who gently put her arm around him and got him back on track.
The low-key group shopped at British footwear favorite Dr. Martens, also called ‘Doc Martens’, and then it was on to the Vans skateboarding and sneaker store while Ben carried several bags from Terrain.
Later on, Violet Affleck, wearing a white newsboy cap, jeans, striped sweater and mask, could be seen putting her arm around her dad, as he had his arm around his beautiful fiancée.
The group stood in line at Yogurtland. Everyone except Ben got a cup of frozen yogurt.
JLo could be seen doing a little shuffle dance as she ate her chilly treat.
This is Ben and J-Lo’s second engagement after almost a twenty-year gap. Recent reports say the two will keep their wedding plans under wraps to avoid a media circus.
A day after the family outing, J-Lo shined on stage at the MTV Awards where she was honored with the Generation Award.
The tears started flow when she acknowledged her two children ‘for teaching me to love’ and thanked the people who have ‘been true and those who have lied to her.’
She also gave a shout out to her fiancé at the very end of the speech saying: ‘Ben and everybody at home, wait for me to have dinner. I will be home by 7!’
The triple threat entertainer recognized her supporters, as well as those who have discredited her during her journey, while delivering a ‘different kind of list of thank-yous.’
After soaking in a rousing ovation from the audience, J-Lo reminisced about the many people she has worked with during her career in film.
‘You’re only as good as the people you work with,’ she shared, in a reference to the incredible success she has achieved since breaking in to Hollywood in the 1980s.
She then confessed that she was lucky enough to work with people who made her ‘better.’
