After 2 years, Anna Kendrick and Bill Hader have decided to call it quits.
The actors ended their nearly two-year relationship as quietly as they started it.
When asked about the report, Hader’s rep said, “We have no comments at this time.”
On the same note, Kendrick’s rep said, “It is my company’s policy not to comment nor to share information regarding our client’s personal life.”
While their official start date is unclear when it comes to them being a couple, a source close to them revealed back in January, “They have been dating for over a year.”
“They are both very private people, and with the pandemic, it was easy to keep it quiet,” the source added.
Kendrick, 36, and Hader, 44, met when she hosted “Saturday Night Live” in 2014. They later starred together in the 2019 Disney+ Christmas movie “Noelle.”
The only time either has made a comment about the other was when Hader shut down the possibility of Kendrick appearing on his TV series “Barry” during an interview with “ET” in April.
As for the reason they have kept their romance under wraps, the “It” star told the Hollywood Reporter he wants to protect the privacy of his three daughters with ex-wife Maggie Carey: Hannah, 12, Harper, 9, and Hayley, 7.
“My daughters just want me to be their dad,” he said in April. “They just want me to sit and watch ‘Encanto’ over and over and over again. So that’s what I do.”
Before dating Kendrick, Hader dated Rachel Bilson. They had sparked relationship rumors in late 2019 and made their red carpet debut at the 2020 Golden Globes, but they broke up later that same year.
As for Kendrick, who has kept her love life private in the past, she previously dated British cinematographer Ben Richardson after meeting on the set of “Drinking Buddies.”
While the “Pitch Perfect” star has never been married, she and Richardson, 46, sparked engagement rumors in 2015.
