Just minutes after yelling at a fan who tried to grab her microphone, Cardi B ended up striking a fan who touched her wrongly with her mic.
The rapper was hoisted onto the shoulders of a security guard as she attempted to connect with fans in the crowd.
Cardi B rapped the verses of her 2017 hit ‘Bodak Yellow’ as the guard attempted to keep her out of harm.
As she pumped her fists in the air, allowing fans to sing the chorus, one fan got a little too close and touchy.
Cardi B abruptly stopped her performance, cocked back her mic, and took a swing at the unseen fan caught on video footage.
It was known seen if the fan was actually hit by the mic, since it was so crowded.
It did however, prove that Cardi did not welcome the fan’s touch.
Fans on TikTok rushed to the comment section to give their take on the rapper’s rowdy reaction.
One TikTok user commented, “AS SHE SHOULD.”
Another joking added, in relation to Cardi’s hit singles as wall as her microphone swing, “you don’t miss” followed by several laughing emojis.
A third fan wrote, “getting hit with a mic is crazy”.
While a fourth person commented, “Cardi always proves why she’s the queen of hip-hop”.
Apparently, other fans in attendance thought Cardi’s violent reaction was justified as after both incidents the crowd roared into chants of “Cardi”.
After the performance was over a clearly frustrated Cardi B rushed backstage while giving a few fans a friendly wave.
