Who says exes can’t still be friends?
Megan Fox proved this to be wrong after she sent flowers to ex-husband Brian Austin Green to congratulate the arrival of his new son.
Megan Fox sent the proud parents a white floral arrangement with a note reading “Congratulations Brian and Sharna.”
The gesture appears to continue the ongoing, mutual goodwill Green and Fox apparently have for one another since splitting up in 2019 and ultimately finalizing their divorce in 2021.
Prior to calling it quits for good, the ex-spouses had an on-again, off-again relationship that stretched back to 2004, when they met on the set of “Hope & Faith,” before tying the knot in 2010.
The gift would also seem to support rumors that Burgess, 37, and Fox, 36, are on good terms when it comes to co-parenting the three sons Fox shares with the 48-year-old actor: Noah Shannon, 9, Bodhi Ransom, 7, and Journey River, 5.
In a mid-June episode of former “Bachelor” Nick Viall’s “The Viall Files” podcast, Burgess dished on her first encounter with Fox, which took place roughly five months after she began dating Green sometime in fall 2021.
“We were both at the same restaurant and we oddly made eye contact for a brief moment, and I was like ‘This is not the place for us to meet for the first time,’” said Burgess.
She then texted Fox after obtaining her number from Green: “‘Hey, I’m around your kids all the time. If you ever want to know anything about me, or if you ever want to get coffee, let me know. They are amazing kids. I love them and if there’s any way I can support in being part of this situation, let me know.’”
The “Jennifer’s Body” star, who has been with Machine Gun Kelly since May 2020, responded with appreciation, according to Burgess.
