A beautiful star couple has been born! Bradley Cooper and Huma Abedin are dating all thanks to the matchmaking skills of Anna Wintour.
The top aide to Hillary Clinton, and former wife of disgraced politician Anthony Weiner, has been seeing the A-lister for the past few months, according to multiple insiders.
They were introduced by Vogue editor Anna Wintour, who is close with both of them.
“Anna definitely played matchmaker,” one well-placed source says. “She’s BFFs with Bradley and adores Huma.”
“Bradley has been quietly dating Huma for months and they have been keeping it really quiet,” a source close to the two revealed.
Cooper broke up with actress Dianna Agron and quietly started dating Huma.
It seems Huma has told a few friends that she is dating a new man, but has not revealed who the man is to them.
The source also revealed, “They are perfect for each other. They’re both into power and politics and human affairs.”
The high-profile pair arrived together at the Met Gala on May 2 and then split up for the red carpet. Pictures show Abedin, 46, in a canary-yellow gown posing for the cameras, with Cooper, 47, keeping his distance behind her.
Abedin has said Wintour, 72, has been one of her most supportive friends in the wake of Weiner’s sexting scandal.
While promoting her memoir “Both/And: A Life in Many Worlds” in November, Abedin, an observant Muslim, told The Cut how she lost her virginity to Weiner when she married him at age 32. She said the pair, who share 10-year-old son Jordan, are now in the “final stages” of their divorce.
Bradley is definitely a big step up from Weiner when it comes to dating for Huma.
