Justin Bieber’s biggest supporter, Usher, is updating the fans on how Justin feels after being diagnosed with Ramsay hunt Syndrome.
Usher says, “It’s been one month since the diagnosis and Justin is doing great.”
“As an artist, I think we are all going to experience some things that people may not necessarily understand,” Usher said about his 28-year old mentee.
“I think Justin has obviously taken the world on a journey,” the Usher continued. “I am happy that I was at the beginning of and I am still a part of to this day, as a friend.”
Usher also talked about seeing Justin on a recent vacation and the two managed to hang out together for a bit. Usher said, “I think that whatever he may be experiencing right now, it’s actually really great to see that he has the support from his fans and his family.”
Bieber revealed his health scare last month, documenting his facial paralysis in an Instagram video.
“As you can see, this eye is not blinking,” the songwriter told his followers in June. “I can’t smile on this side of my face. This nostril will not move, so there’s full paralysis on this side of my face.
“For those who are frustrated by my cancellations of the next shows, I’m just physically obviously not capable of doing them,” Bieber continued at the time. “This is pretty serious as you can see.”
Later in the same week, during a “Good Morning America” appearance, Hailey Bieber said, “My husband is getting better every day.”
“Obviously it was just a very scary and random situation to happen,” the model, 25, explained. “He’s going to be totally OK, and I’m just grateful that he’s fine.”
So far since Justin has been diagnosed, he has been spotted at church functions, running errands, and a trip to Idaho in June.
The Grammy winner has postponed multiple shows while battling the rare disorder. He is currently hoping to kick off the first of his international shows in Lucca, Italy, on July 31.
