Leonardo DiCaprio is said to be in the ‘getting to know you’ phase with supermodel Gigi Hadid.
This news comes quickly after Leo recently officially split from his ex-girlfriend Camila Morrone.
The wild and famously known playboy, has been reported to have only eyes for 27-year old Hadid, while getting to know one another in New York City.
An inside source points out, “DiCaprio and Hadid are not dating yet. DiCaprio is definitely pursuing Hadid, who is now a stunning single mother.
“They’ve been seen hanging out with groups of people,” a second source has revealed. “It’s only been a few weeks since he and his most recent ex, Camila Morrone, broke up.”
A few of DiCaprio’s close friends, including his BFF art dealer Helly Nahmad, were spotted attending Hadid’s clothing line launch party at Le Chalet in L’Avenue at Saks last week.
However, it wasn’t clear if DiCaprio was amongst his friends and attending the event too.
Meanwhile, others said that even though DiCaprio sees Hadid as a potential girlfriend, they are still currently just friends because Hadid isn’t looking for a relationship at this time.
Rumors of a budding romance between DiCaprio and Hadid have taken social media by surprise. They were shocked that DiCaprio would consider dating someone over the age of 25.
“I simply do not believe the Leo DiCaprio and Gigi Hadid rumors simply because she is more than 25 years old,” one person tweeted.
Another wrote, “Wait leo dicaprio wants to date gigi hadid now? Does he know shes 27????? 🤮”
DiCaprio and Morrone split over the summer just after she turned 25. However, an official reason for the breakup has not yet been released to the public.
Hadid’s most recent high-profile relationship was with singer Zayn Malik, with whom she shares a 2-year-old daughter named Khai.
