When you know, you just know!
Kaley Cuoco fell for her boyfriend, Tom Pelphrey, right away.
“When I met Tom, it was absolutely love at first sight,” the “Big Bang Theory” alum, 36, told “Extra” of the “Ozark” star, 40, on Tuesday.
Cuoco reflected on the moment she and Pelphrey first locked eyes, revealing that it happened when she attended the Season 4 premiere of his Netflix show in April.
“We have the same management team. My manager actually took me as her guest to the ‘Ozark’ premiere, and I met him there,” she said. “It was like the angels started singing. I was like, ‘Hallelujah.’ It was very magical. It was perfect.”
Cuoco noted that things might have turned out differently had she met Pelphrey at a different time in her life.
“Last year was the rough year. I met Tom this year, and I took a long time to look within myself and realize I need to figure stuff out and did a lot of therapy and self-reflection, met Tom at the right moment,” she shared. “That’s why I think I am against time travel because I wouldn’t want to ruin that timeline. It’s all supposed to happen the way it’s supposed to happen.”
Cuoco, who gave the interview at the New York City premiere of her time travel-centric Peacock film “Meet Cute,” joked, “Don’t mess with it unless you’re in a really cute movie.”
Cuoco announced to the public that she was dating Pelphrey in May by posting PDA-filled pics to social media.
That same month, they made their first public appearance together while attending a Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony. The couple then made their red carpet debut at the 2022 Emmy Awards earlier this month.
Despite finding love with Pelphrey, the twice-divorced actress has no intentions to ever get married again.
“I would love to have a long-lasting relationship or a partnership. But I will never get married again. Absolutely not. You can literally put that on the cover,” she told Glamour in April.
Cuoco filed for divorce from equestrian Karl Cook in September 2021, shortly after news broke that they had split after four years of marriage. They finalized their divorce in June. Two months later, she shared that her divorce was a dark time in her life.
“I was throwing myself into work to deny my depression, and how upset I was. Unfortunately, the character [Cassandra Bowden in ‘The Flight Attendant’] was so depressed that it wasn’t helping me!” she said at the time. “I was really, really, really struggling. A lot of tears.”
The Emmy nominee was previously married to former tennis player Ryan Sweeting from 2013 to 2016.
