Celeb star Brooke Bailey from “Basketball Wives” announced that her 25-year old daughter Kayla, tragically passed away on Sunday.
“Forever my baby, Pretty Black aka Kayla Nicole Bailey 💜🕊💔 This is not a goodbye. Mommy will see you soon 🙏🏾,” Bailey wrote on Instagram alongside a series of photos of Kayla through the years.
Bailey, 45, also changed her bio to include a tribute to her late daughter that read: “FOREVER 💜🕊Kayla Nicole Bailey 3/2/97-9/25/22 #PrettyBlack.”
Kayla’s cause of death as not been released at this time, but there are reports that claim she died from injuries sustained in a car accident.
Bailey appeared to confirm the news by reposting an article about the crash.
Bailey’s friends, family and followers flooded her announcement with their condolences as soon as she shared the news.

Bailey, who also has two sons, thanked everyone for their outpouring of support, writing on her Instagram Story, “Thank you for LOVING my baby girl. Thank you.”
