Sex is a natural act according to Candace Bure. Especially, if it’s within the realm of being married and you are sharing it with your partner.
Candace Cameron Bure wishes sex within marriage didn’t get such a bad name and is gushing about her own healthy sex life with 48-year old husband Valerie Bure.
The couple, who have been married since June 1996, still look so much in love when you see them in pictures or videos.
Bure says, “We don’t have a schedule for intimacy, but we try to make time for each other and still love each other physically.”
Candace dished her private love life with Mayim Bialik on Tuesday’s episode of the “Bialik Breakdown” podcast.
Bure clarified that she doesn’t want to give “TMI” or gross out her three kids, but admitted that sex is important to her relationship.
“I’m a happier person and my husband’s a happier person when we’ve had sex,” the 46-year-old actress gushed.
She noted that while time in the bedroom can be about communication and connection, sometimes it is “just about the sex.”
Candace explained, “Some days, you just need the release.”
Bure also revealed that she is the most attracted to her husband when he makes her laugh, since that’s one of their love languages they share together.
“Since my husband grew up in Russia, he can tend to be much more reserved and a little more serious about life,” she added. “So when there’s that playfulness, there’s nothing that makes me happier.”
The couple share kids, Natasha, 24, Lev, 22, and Maksim, 20.
In September 2020, the actress made headlines for defending a photo of the former athlete with his hand on her boob, writing via Instagram that Valeri can “touch me any time he wants, and I hope he does.”
“The fact that we have fun and we flirt together, this is part of what makes our marriage work,” Bure has said about her and Valerie.
