Privacy…who needs it at the Kutcher household!
Mila Kunis, 39, and Ashton Kutcher, 44, don’t close the door while going to the bathroom at home and it’s all because of their kids.
“Our doors are always open in our house,” Kunis said in an interview on Thursday. “There are no closed doors. For better or for worse, as a family. We have all kind of embodied bodily function as a very standard norm.”
Kunis blames the situation on her 7-year old daughter, Wyatt and 5-year old son, Dimitri.
“I’d never thought that I would be the person that was able to go to the bathroom with the door open,” she explained. “It doesn’t matter if I close it. It never made a difference.”
The little ones would knock on the door every two seconds, leading Kunis to just keep the damn door open.
In July 2021, she and Kutcher, 44, made headlines when they told Dax Shepard that their kids only got bathed when they became visibly dirty.
“If you can see the dirt on them, clean them,” Kutcher said. “Otherwise, there’s no point.”
Kunis chimed in, “I wasn’t that parent that bathed my newborns, ever. I didn’t have hot water growing up as a child, so I didn’t shower much anyway.”
As an adult, Kunis clarified, “I wash my armpits and my crotch daily, and nothing else ever. I got a bar of Lever 2000 that delivers every time. I do have a tendency to throw some water on my face after a workout to get all the salts out.”
The couple’s confession led to many other celebs sharing their own bathing regimens last year, from Drew Barrymore to Jake Gyllenhaal.
Shepard’s wife, Kristen Bell, was one of the first, admitting to once going “five or six days” before giving their daughters, Lincoln, 9, and Delta, 7, a bath.
“Once you catch a whiff, that’s biology’s way of letting you know you need to clean it up,” Bell, 42, said on “The View” in August 2021. “There’s a red flag, because honestly, it’s just bacteria. Once you get the bacteria, you gotta be like, ‘Get in the tub or the shower.’”
And people idolize these celebs? WHY???
