Blood is thicker than water and when it comes to support, singer Brandy fully loves her brother Ray J.
Brandy posted a sweet tribute to her brother, Ray J, on social media after he shared a series of concerning posts about his mental health.
“Need you bro @rayj 🙏🏽,” Brandy, 43, captioned a throwback picture of her and Ray J, 41, on Instagram on Friday.
Friends and fans flooded the comments section with supportive messages and prayer hands emojis.
Ray J seemed to worry his sister and many others on Thursday night after posting and then deleting videos of himself revealing that he was struggling with suicidal thoughts.
“If it wasn’t 4 my Kidz I would jump off and die tonight,” Ray J, who shares daughter Melody, 5, and son Epik, 2, with on-again, off-again wife Princess Love, captioned one of the clips.
He then wrote over a video of him with his feet dangling over a ledge, “SHOULD I JUST JUMP off and end it right Now!!! ????”
A close source to Ray J said, “His cryptic remarks and videos were all fueled by alcohol. He had been drinking when he posted the clips and was just messing around. He wasn’t taken to the hospital or evaluated for what he did. He is fine and everything is okay.”
The insider added, “Those videos were taken while Ray J was on vacation with Princess Love.”
Ray J and Princess Love have had many ups and down over the course of their six-year marriage.
In October 2021, the pair filed for divorce for a third time, but it has not yet been finalized and it is unclear if the couple have officially rekindled their relationship.
