Katie Maloney is trying the cougar life!
Maloney, 35, dished out that she is currently flirting with a 25-year old guy, after finalizing her divorce with ex-husband Tom Schwartz.
“There’s a guy who’s, like, 25 that I’ve been hanging with. It’s fun,” Maloney revealed at BravoCon 2022 on Saturday.
Maloney clarifies they aren’t officially dating, they are just keeping it light for now and seeing where it goes.
“Single girl Katie is having a good time,” she clarified. “It’s just casual. It’s just fun. I haven’t been single since I was 24, and the landscape is totally different.”
“The Vanderpump Rules” star shared that she initially tried to move on from Schwartz, 40, by downloading the private, membership-based dating app Raya, but she was turned away.
“They waitlisted me, so I thought, ‘This was a sign,’” she told us. “Instagram works. You can just slide in some DMs. That’s what’s up. Instagram is kind of a dating app. Also, all the guys are kind of, like, young. But that’s kind of fun, too.”
Maloney and Schwartz announced in March that they had broken up after nearly 12 years together. They were married for only three of those years, in part because they realized their August 2016 “wedding” in front of Bravo cameras was not legal, leading them to officially become husband and wife in July 2019.
The former couple settled their divorce in September and finalized it last week.
While in the midst of separating, Schwartz was rumored to have hooked up his co-star Raquel Leviss. However, Schwartz quickly denied anything of the sort ever happening.
“I don’t think I see a relationship with Leviss,” the bar owner added. “I have a great admiration for her, and we’re tight, we’re friends, we’re boys.”
