Maybe James Kennedy could get a Southern Charm etiquette lesson!
The “Vanderpump Rules” star James Kennedy dissed the ladies on “Southern Charm” while at BravoCon on Friday.
Kennedy, 30, was with his girlfriend, Ally Lewber, and some friends at the luxe, newly renovated Gansevoort Meatpacking Hotel in New York City when they began discussing the cast of the fellow Bravo show.
According to a source, Kennedy told his friends that he had never even thought in the slightest the women on “Southern Charm” were attractive.
He went on to say, he didn’t understand why everyone thought She Rose was cute. When one of his friends chimed in and said it was because he was old, Kennedy said, “I’m old myself at 30.”
“Yeah, but you’re in your prime,” the friend told him. “Rose is 42 years old.”
His comments came after a hectic first day of BravoCon, which, at one point, was compared to the infamous Fyre Festival.
A Twitter user, who was attending the Bravo convention, wrote, “Shame on @BravoTV. #BravoCon is the new Fyre Festival.
“Waiting hours in lines for panels only for there to be stampedes in, no chairs, people camping out all day to not let others in, no use of the RFID bands,” she continued. “It’s a s–t show.”
The network addressed the chaos in a statement, saying that the “over capacity issue” was caused by coordination confusion.
“There was an issue where we failed to clear the room after one panel ended while the audience for the ‘RHBH’ panel entered causing an over capacity issue,” Bravo said. “Security acted immediately to ensure safety for all present. We absolutely want to ensure that everyone has the weekend and experiences they came for.”
LOOK IN THE MIRROR, JAMES. YOU ARE NO PRIZE & THE SOUTHERN CHARM YOUNG LADIES ARE ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL.
