Kristin Cavallari’s ex-boyfriend, comedian Jeff Dye, is putting her in check for exposing his DUI arrest “for clicks” while sharing his personal life with the world.
“F–k her. It’s not her story to tell,” he said on Marco DelVecchio’s “Smoochie Town” podcast Thursday. “I had experiences with you that I didn’t go tell everyone. Those were also my experiences when you were f–king off with all these other people.”
Apparently, Cavallari recalled Dye’s story on her podcast in October, saying, “I met up with my ex-boyfriend who was arrested for a hit-and-run in the middle of us meeting up.”
Despite not naming Dye specifically, a source later confirmed that she was in fact referring to him when she retold the story.
“I don’t think people realize how horrific that made me feel,” Dye said, “I was hoping to get back together with her at the time because I was still in love with her, but now I would never even consider it.”
Dye, who then explained he was a 40-year old high-functioning alcoholic with 36 days of sobriety, went o to say what led to his arrest in full detail.
“I woke up late because I slept through my alarm. I jumped in the cold shower. I put a hat on. I had just gotten in my Tesla, and Teslas are very fast, and so I just lost control of my car and crashed it,” he recalled.
“This is nine hours after I went to sleep. It wasn’t like I was leaving a bar. I wasn’t like hammered. I’m not downplaying anything, but once I crashed I was like, ‘F–k, there’s probably still some alcohol in my system,” Dye added.
Dye continued to explain, “My instinct was stop run from my car and then grab the car later, but cops caught me at the coffee shop where I was meeting Kristin. Then they arrested me right in front of her. “It was literally the worst day of my life. The whole thing was just a mess.”
36-year old Cavallari and Dye first started dating in October 2020 and then split during the middle of 2022.
Cavallari since the split has said she found some luck on the dating app Raya, while Dye was briefly linked to Clare Crawley.
