Gisele Bündchen has found love once again after her divorce with ex-husband Tom Brady, as she is spotted snuggling and kissing jiu-jitsu trainer friend Joaquim Valente in their Miami neighborhood.
“They’re deeply in love,” said an insider, “Gisele and Joaquim stay together regularly.”
The pair was even seen locking lips on Valentine’s Day as they strolled through their Miami neighborhood.
Gisele previously said during an interview with Vanity Fair in March 2023, “There are rumors that I’m dating my long-time friend and jiu-jitsu trainer. He is our teacher and most importantly he’s a person I admire and trust. It’s so good to have that kind of energy, to have my kids around that type of energy.”
Valente is no stranger to being photographed spending time with Gisele and her kids along with his own children. They have taken multiple trips to Costa Rica, as well as the duo’s native Brazil, since her divorce from former Patriots star Tom Brady was announced in October 2022.
Another close source insists, “The love talk is a bit premature right now between them. They’ve just recently crossed the line into seeing each other. The romance has been discreet since last summer.”
But Valente has also been seen with Bündchen on multiple vacations with her family and has been seen paddleboarding, strolling on the beach, jogging, riding horses, and hitting the gym with her, as well as picking up the Sports Illustrated model from the airport.
Weeks after Bündchen and Brady’s divorce announcement, Valente was with Bündchen and her children on a trip to Costa Rica.
Bündchen even posted a cryptic quotation on Instagram after a sighting with the jiu-jitsu instructor nearly a year ago that read: “‘Everything we hear is an opinion, not a fact. Everything we see is a perspective, not the truth.”
Bündchen also told Vanity Fair last year of the rumors about Valente, “I think, at this point, unfortunately, because I’m divorced, I’m sure that they’re going to try to attach me to anything… I’m so grateful to know all of the Valente brothers, because not only have they helped me and helped my kids, but they have become great friends, and Joaquim especially.”
After Bündchen, 43, filed for divorce from the seven-time Super Bowl champion, 46, in 2022, she posted an Instagram Story saying, “My priority has always been and will continue to be our children whom I love with all my heart. We have grown apart and while it is, of course, difficult to go through something like this, I feel blessed for the time we had together and only wish the best for Tom always.”
Brady wrote on the social media platform that he and Bündchen made the “painful and difficult” decision to part ways, and, “We only wish the best for each other as we pursue whatever new chapters in our lives that are yet to be written.”
Since then, Brady has not been serious with anyone but has been spotted on-and-off with Irina Shayk.
The couple have two children together, plus a child whom he shares with ex Bridget Moynahan.
Joaquim teaches at a Miami-based academy alongside his brothers, where the model and her family first began training in 2021.
