Beyonce’s mom, Tina Knowles, shared a rare update about her daughter’s 6-year old twins with Jay-Z, Rumi and Sir.
“Rumi is so amazing, an amazing artist, painter, and creator. How could they be anything else growing up in that environment? All we talk about is creativity and fashion,” the fashion designer spilled the tea as she chatted with E! News at the 2024 Kentucky Derby.
She went on to describe Sir as a very, very smart, but more quieter child. She explained how he is more into numbers, so he isn’t really involved in fashion as much.
Knowles, 70, also raved about Beyonce’s recent venture into country music with the release of her chart-topping album “Country Carter”.
“We’re from Texas. We’ve been part of that culture for a long time, and I was very excited about it. She has this way of doing things subtly but educating, and so I’m really proud of that,” she said.
The last time Knowles spoke about her grandchildren was back in 2019, where she said Rumi was the type to rule the world and Sir was laid-back and chill.
Beyonce, 42, has shared very few glimpses into the lives of her youngest children, including them in her Ivy Park campaigns, her Renaissance tour footage, photos on social media, and her music.

However, Beyonce did include Rubi’s voice in her song “Protector” on her new album.
“Mom, can I hear the lullaby, please?” she asks at the beginning of the track.
Rumi seems to be following in her older sister Blue Ivy’s footsteps, as the 12-year-old also has appeared in several of her parents’s songs.
Blue Ivy even received a Grammy Award for her feature on “Brown Skin Girl” in 2019 when she was just 7 years old.
The preteen as since went on to dance on stage with her mom during the “Renaissance” tour last summer, despite her mom initially telling her not to join.
Beyonce later revealed, her eldest daughter had read posts online that criticized her “lackluster moves”, so Blue Ivy trained even harder for the rest of the tour.
