Fans are teasing Ramona Singer over the intensity of her newly microbladed eyebrows.
The “Real Housewives of New York City” star, 65, posted a video to her Instagram Story Tuesday showing off her updated look and credited celebrity microblader Karin for the results.
“I just got my eyebrows microbladed from this wonderful woman,” Singer said in the viral clip. “Now I only have to do it once a year, so I’m ready for summer. You definitely have to use Karin. She’s the best.”
Several fans took to Twitter, however, to poke fun at the video and blame the Bravolebrity’s infamous facial expressions for making her brows look higher and pointier than they should.
“I’m howling. She’s so cheap that she got free micro blading in exchange for an instant story post and ends up looking like the joker and the grinch had a baby,” one critic tweeted.
“She did Karin so wrong trying to promote her . I’m sure she did them the way Ramona wanted . SMH,” another added.
“My daughter does microblading and those brows look horrible!!! Good thing is that they will fade in time,” a third fan chimed in.
Singer’s Instagram Story did not appear to be branded content, though, as she did not include a paid partnership label and only tagged Karin’s handle.
Twitter users even went so far as to compare Singer’s brows to various characters from movies, including Rachel Dratch’s botched surgery character in “Just Go With It,” Matt LeBlanc’s “Friends” character, Joey Tribbiani, after getting notoriously thin eyebrows and Uncle Leo from “Seinfeld” after his eyebrows got singed off, among many others.
Others pointed out that Karin posted before-and-after photos of the reality star’s brows and they did not appear as dark, raised or thin.
“Let me just make one thing clear. Ramona must have had other things done to her forehead because this is how she looked after she had the brows done,” someone tweeted alongside a screenshot of the before-and-after comparison.
“I think it’s an extra long brow, a lift, and like, frosted eye shadow. the eye shadow is really emphasizing the darkness and gigantism of the brows…plus they are drawn hella high in her head. Maybe Ramona asked to do something to draw attention away from her wandering eyeball?” another fan noted.
It appears Karin is not a stranger to the “Real Housewives” world.
She previously posted shots of Singer’s “RHONY” co-stars Luann de Lesseps and Jill Zarin as well as “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Margaret Josephs’ brows for a reunion special.
