Anne Hathaway looked every bit the brunette bombshell as she showcased her fit physique in an athletic-themed shoot for Interview magazine’s June issue.
Along with her racy shoot, the actress dished on some of her favorite things, as well as the one ‘canceled’ celebrity’s art she can’t get enough of, while answering 20 questions from 20 of her ‘friends and fans’ in Hollywood.
The Princess Diaries tar, 39, appeared on the magazine’s cover in nothing but a black flak jacket and shoulder pads.
She posed with a red jump rope wrapped behind her neck and her mouth slightly agape.
Anne’s brunette hair was parted to one side and flowed down her chest. Her large brown eyes were given a sultry look with smudged out black liner.
For the racy shoot, Anne slipped into a number of designer brands like Gucci and Prada as she posed seductively with various pieces of gym equipment.
Anne admitted that comedian Aziz Ansari, who had sexual misconduct allegations made against him in 2018, happened to be her ‘canceled person’ of choice.
“Aziz Ansari. I think Master of None is one of my favorite modern romantic series. Yeah,” said the One Day star, referencing to Aziz’s hit Netflix series.
Hathaway also revealed, she thought Billie Eilish and Harry Styles had huge energy when it comes to being cultural icons.
When asked what skill she’d love to learn instantly, Hathaway responded, “If I had to pick one skill that I could have instantly, it’s a tie between being a professional-level ballerina and being a concert-level pianist. Because that mind and that body and that strength and that ability to express yourself carry you through life. They both require such enormous intelligence and refinement and discipline, and that’s the way you interact with the world.”
The Devil Wears Prada actress admitted that she doesn’t really think of herself as a singer because she believes her mother Kate is the one with the supreme vocal abilities.
Despite finding her own voice to be nice and having learned to sing the correct way after years with a voice teacher, Anne said that acting was always where she felt like she had the greatest range of expression.
She continued: ‘I love the way the puzzle pieces fit together in crafting a performance. Usually with singing it’s you and the audience, and when you’re acting, it’s you and a group of other people. I love the teamwork of acting. That kind of edges it out for me.’
Julie Andrews, who revealed that she’s never seen Anne ‘angry,’ wondered what ‘really ticks’ the star off.
She joked that no one could ‘ever be angry around Julie Andrews,’ before revealing that she gets ‘really angry’ seeing there are ‘plans in place to overturn Roe v. Wade’ in the midst of the devastating ‘baby formula shortage, which has reduced the availability of baby formula by 43 percent.
Anne continued, “What makes me angry is the people that are cheering for the overturning of Roe v. Wade, will not have a conversation about that point in the future when those two stories intersect. And the people who have been working so hard to overturn Roe v. Wade have done so without making any effort at creating a more fair, just, and equitable society, and affordable, by the way, in which to have children. I’m not someone who likes shaming people, but like I said, I’m angry.”
Finally finishing up her interview, when asked what she regretted wearing when it comes to fashion, Anne answered, ” I recall wearing a see-through dress I picked out myself for a red carpet early in my career. I stepped onto a red carpet and did not know my dress was see-through, and I wasn’t wearing a bra. It was a very long carpet, and at no point did any of the people in that wall of photographers stop to give me a heads-up or offer me a jacket. I’m not naive. I don’t expect that, but it’s something I would do for another person if I saw it. And so I would erase that, just because it sucked.”
