Cuba Gooding Jr. was seen getting rowdy at a Hamptons party over the weekend. He was photographed slapping his girlfriend’s butt before rolling a joint, while surrounded by a slew of D-list celebrity guests.
Electronic music duo Disclosure – which consists of brothers Howard and Guy Lawrence were DJ-ing the party, which was thrown by the company MTRX and saw about 150 guests partying the night away at a private residence in Sag Harbor, New York.
Among the guests were beauty and fashion expert Luciana Pampalone, PR Anna Rothschild, and actor Cuba, 54.
Video footage and photos showed the former Snow Dogs star, who recently plead guilty to one count of forcible touching, enjoying drinks with friends and enthusiastically chatting with fellow party-goers.
At one point during the evening, the 54-year-old could be seen reaching down and smacking his girlfriend, Claudine De Niro’s backside, who seemed to have no reaction to the flirty move.
Unfazed, she continued on with her conversation as Cuba gave her rear a little spank, before she turned to him with a grin.
Later in the evening, Cuba appeared to be preparing to unwind by smoking some marijuana, with pictures showing him rolling a joint while surrounded by his pals.
Cuba and Claudine, 42, who works as a travel agent for a company called In The Know Experiences, first started dating in 2018.
She was previously married to acclaimed actor Robert De Niro’s son, celebrity real estate broker Raphael De Niro, but the two divorced in 2015. She and Raphael had wed in 2008, and share three kids together.
As for Cuba, he tied the knot with his high school sweetheart Sara Kapfer in 1994. They welcomed three kids together, before splitting in 2014.
Rumors first started to swirl of Cuba and Claudine’s romance in 2018, after they were spotted cozying up a restaurant in New York.
In June 2019, Cuba was charged with misdemeanor forcible touching and sexual abuse in the third degree after a woman claimed he groped her breasts in a New York City bar.
Soon, multiple other women came forward and accused Cuba of sexual assault, two of which resulted in more charges being brought against him.
The charges alleged that he pinched a server’s buttocks after making a sexually suggestive remark to her at TAO Downtown in Manhattan, and that he forcibly touched a woman inappropriately at the LAVO New York nightclub, both in 2018.
The actor, whose net worth is approximately $12 million, pleaded guilty to one count of forcible touching in April, and entered a no-jail plea deal.
He also admitted to subjecting the two other women to non-consensual physical contact in October 2018 and June 2019.
He was told by the judge that he had to continue the alcohol and behavior modification treatment he started in 2019 for six more months and have no new arrests.
Claudine, who graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology and previously worked in real estate, has faced some scandals of her own over the years.
In 2017, she was slapped with a lawsuit from her former nanny, who alleged that Claudine owed her unpaid wages.
A second former employee who worked as Claudine’s housekeeper also claimed that Claudine had terminated her 12-month agreement ‘based on discriminatory motives and biases.’
It’s unclear what ever came of the lawsuit, but in 2021, she made headlines once again when she reportedly ‘berated’ a woman who tried to get Cuba’s phone number.
At the time that she ’caused a scene’ at a Hampton’s restaurant after someone asked for her boyfriend’s digits, leaving the woman ‘scared’ and ‘traumatized.’
The woman, named Lieba Nesis, told the media that Claudine ‘aggressively harassed and berated’ her for over an hour over the incident.
