Khloé Kardashian and her ex Tristan Thompson are expecting a baby via surrogate.
“We can confirm True will have a sibling who was conceived in November. Khloé is incredibly grateful to the extraordinary surrogate for such a beautiful blessing,” a rep for Kardashian says. “We’d like to ask for kindness and privacy so that Khloe can focus on her family.”
This is the second baby for Khloe and her ex-boyfriend, who already share daughter True.
A source revealed that despite having a second child together, Kardashian and Thompson are not back together and have not spoken since December outside of co-parenting matters.
Multiple sources add that the baby was conceived via surrogate before it was revealed that Tristan, 31, was having a baby with someone else.
“Khloé and Tristan already had the baby in the works when the scandal hit. By then, Khloé was just like, ‘I’m going to be doing it by myself,’” an inside source reveals, while another adds that Kardashian has been openly talking to friends about having the baby since before Christmas.
Khloe went ahead with having her baby despite calling it quits with Thompson when a paternity test proved the Chicago Bulls center-forward was the father of fitness model Maralee Nichols’ now-6-month-old son, Theo.
Khloe cried when she had to relive the despicable situation again on the recent season finale of her Hulu reality show ‘The Kardashians’.
Cameras were rolling when Kim Kardashian called her sister to alert her that Nichols was suing Thompson for child support.
“What the f–k. Oh, my God. This cannot be happening,” Khloé said as she broke down in tears and Kim, 41, asked to stop filming.
Kim said later in the episode, “The whole thing that is so sad is that Khloé wanted a baby boy. And now this girl is having f–king baby boy. A f–king random that he slept with one night? F–k him. I was so team him.”
Thompson was previously caught cheating on Khloé in 2018 while she was pregnant with True and again in 2019 with Kylie Jenner’s then-BFF, Jordyn Woods.
He is also dad to 5-year-old son Prince with ex Jordan Craig.
Aside from welcoming her new arrival, Khloé is also back on the dating scene. Khloe is seeing a private equity investor she met through sister Kim at a dinner party a few weeks ago.
