The rumors have gone on long enough!
Hailey Bieber, 25, insists there’s a “truth” behind how she and her husband, Justin Bieber, came to be and it doesn’t involve Selena Gomez.
Hailey appeared on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast this week and addressed the claims that she “stole” the Justin from Selena.
“Were you ever with Justin romantically at the same time as Gomez?” host Alex Cooper asks in a preview clip.
“This is so crazy. I’ve literally never talked about this ever,” Hailey responds. “A lot of the perpetuation and the hate comes from ‘Oh, you stole him.’ It’s about people knowing the truth. Because there’s a truth.”
While Hailey hasn’t ever publicly discussed in detail the drama surrounding her courtship with Justin, 28, she has provided insight into how the hate has affected her over the years.
“Enough time has gone by,” Hailey said in April, appearing to reference how long it’s been since Gomez and Bieber parted ways.
Selena and Justin permanently split in 2018 after years of dating on and off, just a couple of months before Justin proposed to Hailey.
“I’m minding my business. I don’t do anything, I don’t say anything. Leave me alone, please,” she continued at the time. “I beg of you. Truly. That’s my only request. Be miserable somewhere else, please.”
A year prior, Hailey arrived at the Met Gala, where “Jelena” fans taunted her with “Selena” chants.
