Who would have ever guessed that Hilary Swank would be a mom to twins at 48!
The actress is elated and shared the good news on Good Morning America on Wednesday.
“This is something that I’ve been wanting for a long time, and my next thing is I’m gonna be a mom,” she gushed. “And not just of one but of two.”
Swank, who did not clarify whether she is carrying the children, went on to say, “I just can’t believe it!”
Swank has been very public with her wishes to have children over the years.
“I definitely would like kids someday,” Swank told People in 2006. “That’s definitely something that I’ve always thought about as a very, very young girl.”
Swank has always shared how much she loves children and how she would love to have them when the timing is right.
Swank was married to Chad Lowe at the time when she gushed about having kids, but she divorced the actor the following year.
Swank went on to date her agent John Campisi from 2007 to 2012 and was briefly engaged to financial advisor Ruben Torres in 2016 before moving on with her now-husband, Philip Schneider.
Swank and Schneider got married in August 2018 after dating for two years.
On their first anniversary, Swank happily gushed about their marriage on Instagram.
“It’s been a year!!” she captioned a smiling snap. “The best of my life…besides the first year…and second year together. Happy one year wedding anniversary, to the love of my life.”
