Former porn star Lana Rhoades is making waves against the industry that made her a worldwide star, saying it should be made “illegal.”
Lana’s real name, Amara Maple, worked in the porn industry for eight months between 2016 and 2017, appearing in more than 250 risky films in such a short span of time.
The 26-year old brunette said on “The Skinny Confidential Him & Her” podcast, “I’m still scarred from the experience. I just I don’t think that it’s good for anyone. They should make it illegal.”
Rhoades, who recently revealed she had a baby with an unidentified NBA player, was just 19 when she appeared in her first X-rated scene, saying she was naive as to what she was getting into.
“For some reason I never comprehended that to do porn you actually have to have sex with people,” she said, claiming she had only been intimate with one person before making her industry debut.
It seems Hugh Hefner’s girlfriends on the TV series “The Girls Next Door” are what enticed Rhoades to enter the porn industry.
“I watched the show and I was like… their lives look so glamorous compared to mine,” she stated.
Rhoades recalled thinking, “I was here trying to stop my sister from committing suicide everyday, when I could be jumping out of a trampoline into a pool in this big mansion.”
Rhoades worked as a waitress and then as a stripper before relocating to Los Angeles to kickstart her professional porn career.
The teenager quickly found instant success, becoming the most searched porn star on Pornhub with a whopping 345 million views.
However, Rhoades, who was raised in a very religious household, hated the feeling of performing in porn.
Rhoades said, “It’s like circus acts. As a performer, when I was doing it, it was like ‘What face can I make?’, ‘What sound can I make?’, ‘ What can I do in this movie to make it the best one?'”
“Plus the industry is just full of drugs and alcohol abuse,” Rhoades added.
She left the field in 2017, although she continued to record and release amateur videos with her then-partner.
Changing careers all together, Rhoades now has a following of 16 million on Instagram, while working as a model and fashion designer.
During the podcast, Rhoades also revealed that she has pretty much been ‘asexual’ and that the porn industry didn’t help to fuel her sex drive.
“I don’t like having sex… I never hook up with people, I don’t find people attractive and I’ve always been like that,” she said. “It’s not like there was a change after doing porn.”
However, Roades did get down and dirty with an unidentified NBA star last year, claiming the mystery man fathered her now 9-month-old son, Milo.
In a recent video, the ex-porn star put the sportsman on blast, writing: “I swear to God I thought NBA players were nice guys. Next thing you know, I said, ‘I’m pregnant’ … And he told me to go f–k myself.”
The NBA’s player’s identity has not been disclosed, although many have speculated that the father of the baby is either Blake Griffin or Kevin Durant.
Sounds like she is stupid.
Yeh it also made her rich with a net worth of 24 million hypocrite
Yeh it also made her rich with a net worth of 24 million
Let me get this straight… Getting paid to have sex in front of a camera with someone you may barely know might mess you up in the head & make you disgusted by human contact. Seems possible.
Next…
Seen her in a few clips, I never saw a woman with so much passion for sex, kind of hypocrtical.
