Witherspoon’s oldest son with Ryan Phillippe is 19!
The proud mom celebrated her teen son Deacon’s birthday with a message filled with birthday love on Instagram on Sunday.
Witherspoon, 46, called Deacon, “The guy who possesses the most joyful energy, endless drive, ambition and talent and the biggest heart in the world. Could not be more PROUD of you. I love you, D!”
Witherspoon’s celeb friends, Kate Hudson and Mindy Kaling, joined in the birthday wishes. While Gwyneth Paltrow wrote, “What a babe.”
Meanwhile, Deacon’s father posted pictures of the birthday boy on his Story, calling his son the best.
Phillippe, 48, concluded his message with, “Miss ya so much, homie.”
Phillippe and Witherspoon welcomed Deacon in 2003, three years before they called it quits. The former couple also share daughter Ava, 23.
Ava wrote a touching birthday message to her little brother, including throwback pictures.
“Somehow the biggest heart, the most generous soul, the sharpest wit, and the truest zen all found themselves inside one human being, and I couldn’t be any more blessed to know that person as my (not so) little brother,” Ava wrote.
“You’re the life of the party,” she added, “The way you invite everyone around you to share in all the fun is so special. I’m always impressed by how you embrace life’s many surprises and changes with such confidence, creativity, curiosity, and an innately positive mindset, and I love watching you thrive in all the many ways you do,” Ava concluded. “Thank you for allowing me to ‘mom’ you since day one and for being my best compliment and inspiration.”
