Katherine Schwarzenegger and husband Chris Pratt celebrated a fun-filled Thanksgiving with family, posting a plethora of photos, and one of those included a rare picture of grandpa Arnold with his granddaughter Eloise.
The adorable picture of Eloise and Arnold Schwarzenegger captured many social media hearts.
Katherine documented her “weekend of yummy food, lots of love, a baptism, first holiday season and family” via Instagram Sunday.
“I am so grateful and thankful for these memories ♥️,” she captioned the slideshow.
Despite posting the pictures, Katherine still kept her children’s faces from being seen. However, you could still catch a glimpse of the 6-month-old wearing a knit hat in her car seat.
She also showed the little one sporting a white dress while getting cuddles from her grandpa, 75, at what appeared to be her baptism.
Eloise’s 2-year-old sister, Lyla, also made an appearance in the social media upload.
The toddler posed in a festive outfit, featuring a brown dress with a rope belt, white tights and matching shoes.
Katherine and her husband, Chris Pratt, have chosen to keep their kids mostly off of the platform since welcoming Lyla in August 2020, followed by Eloise in May.
Pratt also doesn’t post many photos of his 10-year old son, Jack, with ex-wife Anna Faris. The couple, however, have no problem raving about their growing family in interviews.
Arnold, for his part, has celebrated grandfather status multiple times over the years, calling the role “the easiest thing” in February.
“They come over to the house, you play for around an hour or two and after two hours, they leave,” Arnold explained to Jimmy Kimmel. “It’s fantastic! I have a great time when they come over to the house.”
Arnold also said, “Chris is a great son-in-law. Such a fantastic guy.”
As for the former politician’s ex-wife, Maria Shriver, Katherine wrote in a May 2021 Sunday Paper essay that the 67-year-old is a “perfect, playful and fun” grandma to Lyla and Eloise.
“Embarking on this new chapter of motherhood allowed for a new blossoming of a part of my relationship with my own mother,” she gushed. “To watch her step into the role of grandmother has been one of the greatest joys of my life.”
