Hip-Hop Diva, Mary J. Blige was covered and dripping in diamonds to celebrate turning 52-years old.
Blige celebrated her big day surrounded by some of Hollywood’s biggest celebs. Her guest list included celebs like, Usher, Queen Latifah, and Fat Joe; just to name a few.
The showed up at Cipriani Wall Street in style and finesse to join in the birthday festivities with Blige.
However, the birthday girl stole the show in a custom crystal-encrusted Matthew Reisman Collection minidress with a sky-high hemline, pairing the plunging silver style, which was made in less than 24 hours, with a heaping helping of diamonds from Lorraine Schwartz and Pristine Jewelers.
To add to the trio of iced out chains, Blige also wore a pair of enormous diamond hoop earrings and a smattering of sparkling studs, bracelets and rings.
The hitmaker opted for a floor-length chinchilla coat from Konstantine Furs and bedazzled René Caovilla stilettos to finish off her birthday outfit.
Blige took to Instagram a day after the party to reflect on her birthday and how much she loved and enjoyed herself.
“WOW!!! What a night!!!” she captioned a series of photos from the evening.
“It’s nothing like partying with people you really LOVE and who LOVES you back!!! That energy was crazy and unmatched!!! Thank you to everyone for all the birthday LOVE!!! I’m so overjoyed and still recovering from Saturday!!! #CapricornSeason.”
The star-studded bash came less than a week after Blige celebrated her birthday with a more “intimate” dinner at Brooklyn Chop House Times Square’s new VIP space.
Close sources said, “Blige was joined by rapper Fat Joe, DJ SnS, and the restaurant’s owner, Robert “Don Pooh” Cummins. Fat Joe even surprised Blige with a special rendition of ‘Happy Birthday’ as big cakes topped with sparklers were delivered to their table.”
