The well known super model of the 80’s, Carol Alt, has chosen to join OnlyFans at the age of 62-years old and says it’s due to her having control over her own image for the first time in her career.
“Forty-four years of working, I don’t own one of my photos,” Alt, who appeared on multiple covers for high fashion mags like Vogue and Harpers Bazaar, said during an interview. “When people say ‘Do you have a photo I can use?’ I have to go ask someone.”
Alt claims she has hired her own photographer to help her in her new endeavor on the racy platform.
“I can choose a photo or not, say I want it or not, they are mine,” she excitedly talks about her new choices in life. “I can shoot how I want to shoot. It’s the wave of the future. When people say it isn’t my image, I don’t want to be defined by someone else image of me. I want to define my own image.”
Despite OnlyFans being well known for its pornographic content, Alt says that won’t be quite what she will be doing, but there will be some sexy, beautiful nudes.
“There are some nude photos, but tastefully done,” she said. “There is a difference between pictures that are tacky and pictures that are tasteful. I don’t know a model out there who hasn’t done a nude.”
Alt is no stranger to taking it all off, since she has posed in Sports Illustrated and Playboy magazines.
The model and actress learned about the platform from her pal Denise Richards, her costar in the new show, “Paper Empire.” Alt, who considers herself an entrepreneur, sees the move as empowering, especially for someone her age.
“I’d like to be hired from it,” she says. “I would like people to know what I look like today. Age doesn’t define me. Women are beautiful at every age. I want people to feel empowered. It’s all good stuff.”
Alt also made it clear that any money she earns on the OnlyFans platform will be going entirely to herself. However, the philanthropist and well known raw diet guru will be donating a portion of her profits to mental health charities for women.
