That is the question that many fans of actress Reese Witherspoon and actor Kevin Costner’s fans were wondering.
However, it has been officially verified that the two famous Hollywood stars are not dating, despite the many rumors that have been swirling around.
“This story is completely fabricated and not true,” a rep for Witherspoon verified.
Speculation arose about the two actors being romantically involved after fans of Costner, 68, and Witherspoon, 47, started speculating after their respective divorces.
“POLL OF THE DAY: Kevin Costner is rumored to be romancing Reese Witherspoon. Do you love this new couple?” asked “Naughty but Nice” podcast host Rob Shuter on X.
Kevin Costner is dating Reese Witherspoon? What??? You go boy!!! You go girl!!!” tweeted another user.
“So there’s rumors of Kevin Costner and Reese Witherspoon dating?! She’s 47, he’s what, 68ish?” pondered another. “Those two? Really? 🤔😊😊.”
Rumors focusing on Witherspoon’s love life have been front and center of fan’s thoughts since she announced her divorce from Jim Toth after being married for 12 years.
Witherspoon had shared in a statement in March, “Despite our split, we have enjoyed so many wonderful years together and are moving forward with deep love, kindness, and mutual respect for everything we have created together.”
Witherspoon officially filed for divorce from Toth about a week later after the statement was released. The ex-couple share an 11-year old son, Tennessee, together, but Witherspoon is also a mother to Ava, 24 and Deacon, 20, to ex-husband Ryan Phillippe.
It only took one month for fans to think Witherspoon had moved on with Tom Brady following his divorce from Gisele Bündchen, but both reps confirmed they had never even met.
Costner, meanwhile, settled his brutal divorce battle with ex-wife Christine Baumgartner in September. Following four months of fighting, Costner agreed to pay the handbag designer, 49, more money than their prenup dictated.
“Kevin and Christine Costner have come to an amicable and mutually agreed upon resolution of all issues pertaining to their divorce proceedings,” their reps shared in a joint statement.
