Tired of all the endless rumors circling her, Jennifer Lawrence finally spoke out, claiming she’s super thankful to her makeup artist and a little less baby weight.
During a conversation with Kylie Jenner for Interview magazine, the Oscar winner shot down speculation that she has had any work done to her face, accrediting her new look to makeup techniques and time.
“I also think it’s incredible what makeup can do because I work with Hung Vanngo, who overlines the lip, and I call him a plastic surgeon, because everybody in the last few months since I’ve been working with him is convinced that I had eye surgery,” the actress joked. “I’m like, ‘I didn’t have eye surgery. I’m doing makeup.’”
Rumors first started when the actress stepped out for a Dior Fashion Show and looked slightly different.
This led social media users to start commenting on Jennifer having filler in her lips and a nose job. However, Lawrence pointed out that it’s completely normal for your face to change as you age.
“I started at 19, so I get the before and after pictures from when I’m 19 to 30 and I’m like, ‘I grew up. I lost baby weight in my face, and my face changed because I’m aging,’” she explained. “Everybody thought I had a nose job, and I’m like, ‘I’ve had the exact same nose. My cheeks got smaller. Thank you for bringing it up.’”
Kylie claims she always over-lined her lips to make them appear fuller since she was a teen and told Lawrence that she looked great despite what people may think.
“I did end up getting lip fillers, but it’s also the same with me,” Jenner said. “I’ll see before and after photos when I’m 12 years old versus 26 and my eyebrows are filled differently. I have contour on. I’m like,’How can you compare my 12-year-old face and say I’ve gotten my jaw shaved and eyelids removed?’”
While this is the first time that Lawrence has addressed the plastic surgery allegations, Jenner has been fending off the rumors for years.
