After five years of dating, Robert Pattinson has finally popped the question “Will you marry me”, to his pregnant girlfriend Suki Waterhouse.
“They are engaged. They both want to be married. It’s important for them,” a close source to the couple confirmed the happy news.
The source also added, “Rob is a very supportive man and has been incredibly supportive of Suki. He feels very lucky to have her in his life.”
It appears Pattinson is ecstatic to become a father, while Waterhouse if full of that pregnancy glow and seems purely happy as well.
The couple was seen strolling in London, where Waterhouse, 31, flaunted her very noticeable baby bump in a crop top as her flashy diamond ring could be seen on her finger.
Meanwhile, Pattinson, 37, dressed casually in a black hoodie with Khakis, a baseball cap, and surgical face mask.
They seemed to be in love as they walked sipping hot beverages to keep warm in the chilly weather.
After months of speculation, Waterhouse confirmed that she and Pattinson were expecting during her set at a Mexico music festival in November.
“I decided to wear something particularly sparkly today ’cause I thought it might distract you from something else that’s going on,” the model-turned-musician told the crowd while gesturing toward her midsection, jokingly adding, “I’m not sure if it’s working.”
Pattinson and Waterhouse made their dating official to the public, when they made their red carpet debut together in December 2022, while attending a fashion show in Egypt.
“I’m shocked that I’m so happy with someone for nearly five years,” Waterhouse said. “I had two days off the other day, and it was, like, no question I’m going back to see him. Then he’ll come out for a couple of days.”
She added, “I’m always incredibly excited when I see his name pop up on my phone or even a text, and I think he feels the same about me. We’ve always got so much to say, and I find him hilarious.”
Pattinson has been less vocal about the romance as a means to preserve it, as he explained to the newspaper in April 2019, “If you let people in, it devalues what love is. If a stranger on the street asked you about your relationship, you’d think it extremely rude.”
After Pattinson’s very public relationship with Kirsten Stewart during the filming of “The Twilight Series” movies, it opened his eyes to what the public can do to a relationship. This the he is chasing to try and keep his relationship with Waterhouse safe and secure.
