While recently visiting the “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” show, Jennifer Lopez briefly mentioned her husband Ben Affleck, as speculation about their marriage continues to circulate.
Lopez, 54, shared an anecdote about the time she met Barbra Streisand for the first time.
During the retelling of Lopez’s story, she claims Streisand commented on the engagement ring Ben had given her years ago.
“‘So that’s a big diamond,’” Streisand told Lopez two decades ago.
“And I’m like, ‘Yes it is’,” Lopez recounts how she responded.
Lopez and Affleck, 51, had begun dating back in 2002 and became engaged the following year. Despite loving one another, the pair eventually called it quits and parted ways in 2004 after postponing their wedding the year before.
Kimmel asked Lopez if she would be bringing her twins Max and Emma, 16, on her upcoming “This is me…now” tour.
However, Lopez admitted that it’s awkward for her kids to watch her perform because they see her at home without doing the sexy things she does onstage.
“You don’t do sexy things at home?” Kimmel asked, to which she responded, “I do, do sexy things at home sometimes but they don’t know about that.”
A few hours later after her appearance with Kimmel, Lopez walked the red carpet for the premier of her new movie ‘Atlas’, but she seemed to be flying solo.
The mom of two was not joined by the “Argo” actor for the glitzy Los Angeles event, however, she was wearing a band on her left ring finger.
Just hours before the movie premier, a source claimed that Affleck had come to his senses in regards to the couple’s marriage.
Affleck’s apparent absence from the premiere came exactly two weeks after the pair first sparked split rumors when Lopez showed up to the 2024 Met Gala without him, despite serving as one of the event’s co-chairs.
A week later it was discovered that the couple were living separately. Affleck was also reported to be staying at a home in the Brentwood neighborhood of LA, less than 30 minutes from his and Lopez’s $60 million Beverly Hills mansion, nearly two weeks ago.
A close source also revealed that Affleck has been quietly house-hunting around the LA area.
