Scott Disick, the ex-husband of Kourtney Kardashian, shocked fans when he appeared out in public looking extremely thinner and gaunt looking.
The 40-year old was seen leaving his home with his ex-girlfriend Chloe Bartoli, with a noticeably thinner looking body frame and an almost sunken look to his eyes.
The reality star’s frame seemed to be slimmer than most fans are used too as the outfit appeared to look quite baggy.
Additionally, his face looked way more defined than viewers have previously seen on the TV show.
A close source to the Kardashian family revealed, “Scott felt he needed to do something after putting a good bit of weight on following surgery. He’s really vain and thinks of himself as the full package; good-looking, funny, and rich.”
“So when Scott put on more than a few pounds after his back injury, it really impacted his self-esteem. He was determined to do something about it,” added the source. “Scott has seen how being overweight hurt Rob Kardashian’s lifestyle, he will barely leave his home and is never seen on tv because of it. Scott didn’t want the same thing to happen to himself, but he knows his extreme weight loss has went a bit too far.”
Scott revealed on The Kardashians reality show that he’d gained weight after he suffered an injury to his back when he was involved in a nasty car crash in 2022.
It was revealed shortly after his confession, Scott was using the popular weight loss drug Ozempic like other Hollywood celebrities.
Huge stars like Sharon Osbourne, Oprah Winfrey, and Amy Schumer have all been known to use Ozempic to lose those extra stubborn pounds.
An insider close to Scott also said, “Scott turned to getting the injections because he would constantly compare himself to Kourtney’s new husband Travis.”
“Kourtney’s marriage to Travis took a toll on Scott and as he got bigger he was comparing himself to Travis. With Travis also being known as a thinner built guy, it drove Scott nuts,” the insider explained. “However, Scott turned to food as a comfort tool instead of drugs after his accident.”
