Angelina Pivarnick is facing multiple criminal charges following an incident at her New Jersey home over the weekend, where her fiancé, Vinny Tortorella, was reportedly present.
A municipal summons issued Sunday lists the charges against the 37-year-old “Jersey Shore” star as simple assault, criminal mischief, obstructing the administration of law, and resisting arrest.

Details remain scarce due to confidentiality.
Freehold Township Police Department officials cited legal restrictions on releasing information about domestic violence cases and criminal investigations.
However, Pivarnick’s attorney, James Leonard Jr., described the incident as “very minor,” attributing it to an adverse reaction to over-the-counter medication.

“We look forward to resolving this matter favorably and putting it behind us,” Leonard added.
An eyewitness claimed on Reddit, in a now-deleted post, to have seen several police cars and an ambulance at Pivarnick’s home in Freehold, N.J., on Sunday.

It’s confirmed that Tortorella was present during the incident, but it’s unclear if he was the alleged victim.
This isn’t the couple’s first brush with the law.
In November 2023, police responded to Pivarnick’s Freehold home for a domestic violence report involving Tortorella. Pivarnick called 911 but decided not to press charges after police arrived.
Nonetheless, a “criminal investigatory record” was created. Leonard confirmed at the time, “Angelina did call the police but chose not to file charges. This matter is now closed.”

Tortorella’s lawyer, Elizabeth Rozin-Golinder, stated that the couple remained engaged and living together.
“My client and Ms. Pivarnick are still engaged and residing together. Mr. Tortorella denies any impropriety or domestic violence,” Rozin-Golinder said. “No charges have been pressed against my client by Ms. Pivarnick or law enforcement. We ask for privacy in this matter.”
Pivarnick later posted a somber selfie with a caption about seeking guidance from God.
Tortorella proposed to Pivarnick in November 2022 during her “divorce party,” celebrating her finalized divorce from her first husband, Chris Larangeira.
